Coldplay is een band. Ze zijn een Britse rockband, opgericht in 1996 in Londen. De band bestaat uit zanger en toetsenist Chris Martin, leadgitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman en drummer Will Champion. De band heeft negen studioalbums uitgebracht:Parachutes (2000), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y (2005), Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), Mylo Xyloto (2011), Ghost Stories (2014), Een hoofd vol dromen (2015), Het dagelijks leven (2019) en Music of the Spheres (2021).
